Book Banning

There are all lot of books, that are banned, and not just for the main reasons why. Here are some of the books that are banned and why.
Hamlet and Macbeth- Is because of some of the language used in the book, and also because its use of sex and violence. Another book that is banned is Twelfth Night, because people think that it "prohibits other alternative lifestyle.
Origin of Species- Is because it has the theory of evolution, and to some religions, that is not how life started, so they think that they should get it out of our heads, and ban it.
Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn- These are both banned because they express juvenile behavior, and the words that are in these books.
Gone With the Wind- This book is banned because of its behavior showed by the main character and the slaves that are freed.
All Religious Books, ex: The Bible, The Quran- These are banned because of obviously their religion, and some words used in them.
The Lorax- Even though, it is a children's book by Dr. Seuss, it has some references to politics, and the government.
The Series of Unfortunate Events- The sexual nature in The Bad Beginning, the words in The Reptile Room, and the violence that Count Olaf uses.
Fahrenheit 451- The use of dangerous stuff used throughout the book. And the thought of burning books.
James and the Giant Peach- This book was banned, because it is sugjested that it promotes tobacco, whiskey, and drugs.
Harry Potter- These books have been banned because of the use of magic, sorcery, wizardry, witchcraft and Sheer Evil.
